Day 01: Arrival in Delhi
Our executive would receive you at the international airport in Delhi around midnight. Later, you would be checked into a hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi
You will have a delicious breakfast at the hotel. You would take a full-day tour of Old and Delhi. You would visit various important places like Rashtrapati Bhawan, India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, Chandani Chowk market, and Raj Ghat. Overnight stay will be at Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi - Agra
After having early breakfast, you proceed to Agra-the seat of Taj Mahal and Agra fort. Along the way, you would visit Akbar’s tomb at Sikandra. Check in at a hotel in Agra. Overnight stay will be at Agra.
Day 04: Jaipur
Take your breakfast at the hotel and then proceed to Amber Fort. You will enjoy the ride up the fort. In the evening, you can relax or go out to visit the bazaars. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jaipur.
Day 05: Jaipur - Delhi
After taking your breakfast, you can go out for shopping. You leave for Delhi after lunch. You would be transferred to a hotel after reaching Delhi. After a nice farewell diner, you will be taken to the airport to fly to Chennai.
Day 06: Delhi – Chennai
On your arrival in Chennai, you would be greeted by our executive at the airport and checked into a hotel. Day 07: Chennai - Trivandrum
This is the 7th day of your Golden Triangle tour. You would be taken today to Somatheeram Ayurvedic Resort.
Day 08: Ayurvedic Beach Resort
The resort has all the facilities for enjoying a private beach, yoga, massage, nature walks, classical music and dance programs in open-air stage. You would visit local villages to know about traditional life.
Day 09: Backwaters of Kerala
You will leave the resort and drive to the pier to board a private houseboat. All your meals and overnight stay on the houseboats.
Day 10: Backwaters – Cochin
You would relax on the houseboat till lunch. Thereafter, you would drive to Cochin. Check into a hotel and relax for the day. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 11: Cochin
This day would be devoted to visiting numerous attractions of the city. Dinner would be arranged at a traditional Kerala restaurant.
Day 12: Periyar
Now, you would get to see a slice of wild life. Visit Periyar Wild life Sanctuary. It is home to bison, antelopes, sambars, wild boars, monkeys, langurs, a wide variety of birds, and some 750 elephants. Overnight stay in Periyar.
Day 13: Periyar – Madurai
In the morning, relax at Periyar. In the afternoon, you would go to Madurai which is also known as The Temple City of India. In the evening, you would walk around the city at your leisure. Overnight stay at Madurai.
Day 14: Madurai
The entire day would be given to exploring the various destinations of the city. It has fascinating temples noted for their architecture and beauty.
Day 15: Madras
Madras is one of the four metropolitan cities of India. You would visit various attractions of the city like churches, beaches, business centers, heritage sites, etc.
Day 16: Drive to Kanchipuram
You would relax on the houseboat till lunch. Thereafter, you would drive to Cochin. Check into a hotel and relax for the day. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 17: Mahabalipuram
You would relax during the morning. Afterwards, you would see places like Five Rathas, Shore Temple, Arjuna's Penance, Mandapams, Krishna Mandapam.
Day 18: Madras-Departure
Morning at leisure. In the afternoon, you would drive back to Madras (80kms. /2hour drive). Go to Chennai international airport for your flight back home.
